Canadian Macroeconomic Outlook with Robert Palombi

September 13, 2017 @ 11:30 am - 1:00 pm

$75

Please join our guest speaker Robert Palombi, Managing Director and Chief Canadian Economist at S&P Global Ratings, for an economic outlook on the US, Canadian, & Global markets.

After a number of setbacks, Canada’s growth prospects seem to be improving again thanks to a pick-up in business spending, improving exports and job creation that is reducing unemployment even in regions that were hit the hardest by the prolonged downturn in commodity prices. At the same time it’s difficult to recall a period of such widespread uncertainty stemming for instance, from sentiment favoring economic nationalism, rising geopolitical tensions, and elevated valuations in equity and fixed income markets that could threaten stable credit conditions if investors’ appetite for risk sours. S&P Global Economist, Robert Palombi will share his views on the domestic and global factors that are likely to shape Canada’s economic performance in 2017 and 2018.

There will be a networking opportunity between: 11:30am – 11:45am.

The presentation will begin at 11:45am
